as a whole. Evolution is modular, however, as you switch a module on it will integrate seamlessly with
the other modules.
Evolution ™ is designed to follow business flows. If a process is not available on the standard system,
screens can be developed to accommodate this.
As an example screens can be modified by user, and security can be set up by field on screens. This is
important if one user is required only to input certain information and another user to input
further information. Fields can be made mandatory on a screen.
The manufacturing module provides bills of material, routings, linking of resources and
multiple manufacturing paths. There is an engineering change control module which allows
controlled processing of obsolete and replacement parts. A sales configurator allows creation
of multiple variations of a product using a single part number.
Unique material issues, Kanban issues or back flushing of materials per job is available.
There is a full subcontract module. The plant maintenance module allows hierarchical parent / child relationship of assets as well as full manufacturing / service scheduling.
Inventory can be located in multiple stores and multiple bins within each store and consignment stock can be accommodated. Batch and serial tracking with full traceability is available. ERP functionality such as resource planning, business planning and key resource planning (with multiple simulations) is available, as well as master scheduling, MRP,CRP and DRP. The quality control module allows you to define procedures and record test results for purchased and manufactured items. Scheduling of quality control audits and full certification control is available. Supplier performance can be monitored against user - defined criteria namely price, quality, and on target delivery dates. Marketing mail shots, with a leads database and tracking facility, can be done via Evolution ™. Market intelligence such as analysis and trends is available. A multi-level general ledger is available in Evolution ™ and each level is user defined. This is advantageous to the business as it is unnecessary to create numerous accounts to achieve a structure that is easy to maintain and report on. Costing can be FIFO, LIFO, standard or average by item code.
